Amanda Holden has made a sly dig at This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield for "jumping the queue" to see the Queen Lying-in-State last week.
There has been massive backlash for the longterm presenters of This Morning, when Holly, 41, and Phillip, 60, could be seen lining up in Westminster Hall to pay their respects to the late monarch on Friday, however, their 'media passes' meant that they were fast-tracked ahead of thousands of others who had queued for up to 24 hours.
A petition to have them axed from the show has reached nearly 60,000 signatures, and celebrities from Eamonn Holmes and Amanda Holden to Piers Morgan have waded into the row.
Speaking to former Pussycat Doll singer Ashley Roberts on iHeart Radio, Amanda, 51, made a cheeky reference about "getting in line" when referring to the fact that ex-footballer David Beckham queued up for 14 hours to pay his respects to the Queen last week.
Ashley said: "So David Beckham has landed a seven-figure deal with Qatar's World Cup sponsor, Doritos. I love Doritos. I'd love a seven-figure deal."
Reigniting her feud with Phillip Schofield, Amanda slyly replied: "Get in line. Well, I mean he did get in line. Good on him."
Ashley then replied: "Well, yes he did for like 14 hours."
Amanda is long-known to have beef with Phillip, after she believed he prevented her from getting a job on This Morning, in favour of Rochelle Humes.
Whilst Amanda had already had a stint presenting alongside Phillip in 2014, whilst Holly took a year off to have her third child, it's said that when the opportunity came up to come back, Phillip instead pushed ITV executives for former The Saturdays star Rochelle to join him.
A former daytime TV executive told The Sun: "Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle, 30, to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced – and having been told privately she'd got the gig."
An ITV spokesperson later insisted this was not the case as they said: "Presenter line ups on This Morning change regularly and final decisions on these line ups are made by producers and not the presenters.
"Phillip Schofield is a much loved broadcaster and part of the ITV family. He is a consummate professional and held in high regard at ITV.
"Amanda is also held in high regard as a judge on one of our biggest shows."
There have been "serious concerns" about the mental wellbeing of Holly and Phillip as they've continued to face mounting criticisms, despite This Morning releasing a statement insisting that they were at Westminster Hall in a work capacity.
A TV source told The Mirror: "The abuse has been nothing short of disgusting, not least as they have done nothing wrong and were fully entitled to media accreditation so they could inform their viewers.
"There is huge, real and serious concerns over their wellbeing and ITV are fully supporting them behind the scenes in the face of such relentless trolling. The channel backs them 110 per cent.”
