‘My life is a list of discarded items’: Anneka Rice, 63, jokes her Madam Tussauds waxwork was melted to create ‘Kim Kardashian’s left buttock’ – as she prepares for TV return

Anneka Rice is making a TV comeback with a reboot of the hit Nineties reality series Challenge Anneka.

But the 63-year-old presenter laments that it may be too late for her to stage a dramatic return to one of London’s most popular tourist attractions.

‘My Madame Tussauds waxwork was melted down to create Kim Kardashian’s left buttock,’ she jokes.

Old times: Anneka Rice has joked that her Madam Tussauds waxwork was melted to create ‘Kim Kardashian’s left buttock’ (pictured with the waxwork in 1994)

‘My life is a list of discarded items. If they ask me to return my Rear Of The Year trophy, I’m going to live in a tree…’

The presenter recently faced a rather more personal Challenge Anneka after packing up her beloved six-bedroomed riverside home and putting it up for sale for £4million-plus.

Rice has moved out of the house overlooking the Thames in Barnes, south-west London.

Here we go again: Anneka is also making a TV comeback with a reboot of the hit Nineties reality series Challenge Anneka

The presenter said she is getting rid of ‘35 years of stuff’, with 17 items to go under the hammer for TV show The Yorkshire Auction House.

Lots include a George Smith Howard sofa, expected to fetch up to £2,000, and a Georgian bookcase, which could go for up to £800.

Other items include an 18th-century walnut side chair, Regency-style cabinet, 17th century-style oak Wake table, billiards table and croquet set.

Lovely: The house – more recently listed for £4.25million – is described as ‘sold, Subject To Contract’ on property website Rightmove

The mother-of-three shared a video of antiques expert Angus Ashworth stripping the property ahead of the auction on Friday.

On Instagram, she posted: ‘Let it go. Can’t hold it back anymore. I’m going to be a wreck when the truck drives away with 35 years of stuff…’

Another picture shows her standing in the back of a removals lorry with the caption: ‘Goodbye life!’

Rice, who also owns a home on the Isle of Wight, bought the Grade II-listed, bow-fronted property in 1987 with Nick Allott, now her ex-husband.

It has three bathrooms, two large reception rooms, a wood-panelled billiards room and a dining area overlooking a courtyard garden. There is also a playroom and a garage.

Pricey: Lots from the property include a George Smith Howard sofa, expected to fetch up to £2,000
