BBC Breakfast’s Nina Warhurst parties with pals weeks after giving birth

BBC Breakfast star Nina Warhurst gave birth to her gorgeous baby girl Nance earlier this month

The 42-year-old BBC presenter has admitted that she is facing a “longer recovery” as she found this round of childbirth “tougher” than the times before.

Nina shares her baby daughter, as well as sons Digby and Michael, with her husband Ted.

As she continues to recover, Nina has been sharing her joy with some close friends.

In view of her 24,700 Instagram followers today, Nina shared some sweet snaps of her pals celebrating with her at home and enjoying some glasses of prosecco.

Nina was positively glowing in a pale blue shirt dress, which was paired with some practical socks and sliders.

The BBC star was all smiles as she hung out with her friends and embraced her husband.

She captioned the first picture: “And the Mum Huns hitting the proseccs babes…

“Nice to feel a *little* bit more myself,” she added.

“(Apart from the socks and sliders combo),” she captioned the picture of herself and Ted.

“Are they here to stay?” she questioned, before continuing: “I just don’t know babe. I am unsure of most things RN.”

It comes after Nina admitted to her followers last week: “It’s been *haaaard* tho! A harder pregnancy.

“A tougher delivery and a longer recovery… maybe it’s being older… but also I’d somehow forgotten.

“I’d forgotten the anxiety of labour moving from the plan,” she explained.

“I’d forgotten the swollen scars, bleeding breasts, mastitis fever, hormonal crashes, clots, constipation, codeine withdrawal, exhaustion…. And this time the added funk of a nose bleed (y tho?!)”

“But part of getting older is getting better aquatinted with your limits and letting go,” she added wisely.
