Bill Turnbull has tragically died following a five-year battle with rostate cancer, his family confirmed today, at the age of 66.

A statement from his family said: “Following a challenging and committed fight against prostate cancer, Bill passed away peacefully at his home in Suffolk surrounded by his family on Wednesday, 31st August.”

Here, we look back at some of Bill’s most memorable moments which saw him capture the hearts of the nation.
