Britney Spears dances in new Instagram video
Kevin Federline is reportedly considering taking Britney Spears to court to request an increase in child support payments for their two children, Jayden James and Sean Preston.
Currently, he receives $40,000 per month, but this amount was based on the assumption that they would have equal custody.
In reality, Britney hasn’t had custody of the children for years, and Sean Preston is turning 18 soon, so support for one child will end.
However, Jayden’s support will continue until around June 2025.
If Kevin can prove that he needs more money for Jayden’s care, the amount could increase, according to TMZ.

Britney seems relieved that Sean is about to turn 18, as it means she won’t have to continue paying the substantial child support to Kevin.
Her desire is for the support to go directly to her sons after they reach adulthood, according to a source close to the family.
Kevin’s recent move to Hawaii with his family raised speculation that he was trying to prolong the child support payments, as California and Hawaii have different child support laws.

California support ends when a child graduates high school or turns 19, whereas in Hawaii, it can continue until the child turns 23 if they’re in college or vocational school.
The situation between Britney and Kevin has had its share of legal battles and financial complexities over the years, including previous requests for increased child support.
Britney’s financial situation and family dynamics have been under scrutiny due to her conservatorship, and she has been separated from her sons for an extended period.
Over the years, Britney has been making substantial payments to Kevin in child support.
In addition to the $40,000 per month for their two children, court documents from previous legal battles revealed that she also paid an extra $15,000 a month for school and extracurricular activities for her sons.
This significant monthly financial commitment means that for the past 15 years, Britney has been paying a minimum of $420,000 annually to support her children.
This is all happening amid Britney’s messy split from Sam Asghari, who is reportedly considering contesting their prenup.
