Britney Spears shows off her pole dancing moves

The battle for Britney Spears’ fortune has already begun – and it’s going to get incredibly ugly by the sounds of it.

The 41-year-old pop icon has reportedly ‘separated’ from Sam Asghari after just a year of marriage in some pretty alarming circumstances.

According to TMZ, the shock split comes after a “nuclear argument” that started when Sam confronted Britney over cheating allegations.

If that wasn’t wild enough, an insider is now claiming Sam is trying to renegotiate their prenup – and is willing to use extreme measures to get some of her $60 million fortune.

Britney’s hard-earned millions are protected thanks to an agreement the former couple made before they walked down the aisle in June 2022, but she may be forced into a corner due to Sam’s worrying threat.

The source told Page Six that Sam is “attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.”

The insider added: “So that’s what Sam is focused on.”

At the moment, it is unclear how much money Asghari, 29, would actually be demanding and the complete terms of the prenup.

He may also be banned from the disclosure of negative information about the Gimme More singer.

Under the document’s conditions, reported by TMZ, if the two were to get divorced then Sam would be blocked bytheir ‘iron-clad’ prenup.

The Family Business actor wouldn’t get a cent of any of the tens of millions that Britney earned from her tours, albums, and movie roles prior to their wedding day.

However, it’s unclear if Sam would be eligible for any of the money his wife earned while they were actually married.

Thoughts of the marriage ending were clearly on their minds, as it was also rumored that lawyers were called shortly after Sam popped the question.

Shortly after announcing their exciting news last year, Sam took to his Instagram Story to thank fans for their “concern about a prenup”.

“Of course we’re getting an iron-clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day,” he assured fans in his post.

A source noted that Britney’s hubby has moved out of their house and is now living in a place of his own, saying: “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”
