The microphone at the heart of Cardi B’s latest onstage meltdown could be yours after going up for auction.
The controversial singer and rapper is now a suspect in a battery investigation for hurling her mic at a fan while performing live at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Footage of the incident shows Cardi, 30 – real name Belcalis Almánzar – responding aggressively after a woman in the audience tossed a drink at the stage, catching her full in the face.
The offending microphone – owned by Vegas based audio production company The Wave – is now up for auction on eBay in a bid to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and local charity Friendship Circle, an organisation that aids children with special needs.
Production company employee Scott Fisher, who retrieved the mic, told TMZ it was easy to locate because the single word ‘MAIN’ had been taped to its handle.

Fisher says the mic still works, despite being thrown with significant force by the rapper, who was onstage just hours after hurling another mic at her DJ while performing on Friday evening.
The item’s current price listed as $25,100 from just 27 bids – a figure that is expected to rise significantly over its remaining six days on the auction site.
The WAP hitmaker was seen hurling the microphone from the stage after getting splashed by a drink thrown by a fan during a gig at Drai’s Beachclub.
A clip showing a new angle of the incident – captioned: ‘When you f*** around and find out’ – showed the fan who apparently threw the drink saying ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry’ after Cardi hurled the microphone.
Security are then seen making their way to the woman before seemingly escorting her away.
The woman who was hit by the mic went to Las Vegas Metro PD the next day to report the incident, reports TMZ.
She told police she had been struck by the microphone thrown from the stage but it is not known if the woman told police she had thrown liquid at the musician first.
In a further intriguing turn of events, another fan has claimed on social media that she was hit by the mic, and said it not strike the person who threw the drink at Cardi.

The night prior, Cardi was performing at Drai’s Nightclub when she became irritated after the DJ was allegedly cutting off her songs too early.
In a clip shared to social media by user kfen777 the entertainer was seen shouting out her name before turning around and flinging the microphone in the direction of the DJ as if she was throwing a football, before walking off stage.
The first clip sees Cardi, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, wearing a busty bright orange dress while performing on stage in the daylight hours.
She is in the middle of singing her 2018 hit Bodak Yellow, and raises the microphone up to her face for another verse, before suddenly a spray of liquid is seen hitting her in the face from a drink cup in the audience.
Cardi appears shocked for a brief second before swinging into action and throwing the microphone at someone in the audience, presumably the drink-tosser.
Meanwhile the soundtrack to her song along with her vocals continues on in the background.
Cardi is then seen fixing her hair as security appears to handle the situation in the crowd.

Fans in Las Vegas reportedly waited two hours in 112 degree heat before the star showed up to perform.
In a new video the hip hop star was seen asking fans to throw water on her as she complained about the excessive heat in Sin City.
The star was filmed bending over and saying she was ‘dying’ from the heat as she urged fans to throw water at her – which they willingly did.
The night prior she was seen barefoot on stage while performing her smash hit I Like It in a neon yellow mini dress prior to the microphone incident.
Cardi ended the set with a confetti celebration before throwing the mic and then leaving the stage.
Confused users in the comments asked, ‘What happened?? There’s no context…’
