Lauren Goodger's boyfriend, Charles Drury, has said he will "never get over" the loss of his newborn baby girl, Lorena.
Charles, 24, has thanked his followers for their support, but admitted he is feeling "lost" and his "heart is broken" after partner Lauren, 35, announced the death of their daughter on Sunday, July 10.
Posting on his Instagram story, he wrote: “My head hurts, my heart is broken, I’m lost. But my daughters give me the strength to keep going.
“I’ll never get over what happened but with the right people and energy I’ll learn to live with the pain.
“Thank you every single person who has message, commented, said a prayer or even had us in your thoughts. I see and appreciate you all.”
Former TOWIE star Lauren said that, despite Lorena being born "with no pregnancy or labour complications", she sadly passed away shortly after birth.
Writing on Instagram, alongside a photo of Lorena's tiny hand in hers, Lauren said: "She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister Larose.
"Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.
"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar."
She added: "I am broken. I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet."
The reality star then asked for privacy during this difficult time, adding: "We have a lot of grieving to do and funeral organising that I just need this time & with my baby girl Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive."
At the time, Charles also posted about Lorena's passing, sharing a photo to his Instagram of his finger being held by Lorena's small hand.
Charles wrote: "Lorena Drury – 8/7/22.
"Our beautiful baby girl so perfect in every way, 8/7/22 will always be your day. Your little heart will forever beat inside mine, I’ll love you until the end of time."
"Nothing will be the same without you, it’s like living a bad dream I can’t wake from, but your mummy & sister will keep me sane," he continued, referencing his and Lauren's 11 month old daughter Larose.
"You remind me so much like your big sister, you’d have looked like little twins, Larose will always know how beautiful & strong you were.
"I promise you I'll look after your mummy & sister forever, just look over us all & keep me strong, show me signs that you’re up in heaven where you belong. I’m sorry it had to be this way but I know we’ll be together again some day.
"This isn’t something I thought I’d ever have to write but I’m so proud to be your daddy, I’ll see you soon baby girl but for now sleep tight."
