Charlotte Crosby has announced the godparents of her daughter Alba as she turns two months old.

The reality star, 32, revealed the chosen ones in a “Godparent alert” post, as she told her 8.3 million followers that she and her partner Jake Ankers had a picked a near and dear friend for the honour.

Charlotte confirmed that The Style founder Adam Frisby and his fiancé Jamie Corbett hadve been asked to take on the role, and both had accepted with great excitement.

Adam took to his Instagram page to share his and his fiancé’s delight at being selected as godparents, as he posted a photo of the pair with Charlotte and her tot standing beside a lit up Christmas tree indoors.

He captioned: “We got asked a very special question tonight… to be little Alba’s godparents!

"Our hearts are so full and we can’t wait to be the best god parents to such a beautiful little girl and make the best memories together."

Followers congratulated the couple in their new role in the comment section, along with dad Jake, who wrote: “I can’t wait to see her grow up with you guys”.

Charlotte added in response to the post: “Officially family now. We may as well all move in together."

Adam spoke of his “special bond” with baby Alba in another post shared on Instagram Stories, following the announcement.

He wrote: “She's so very loved. I can't wait to make so many special memories together and also get in my practice for parenthood (hopefully one day)."

Charlotte and beau Jake welcomed their daughter on October 15.

Since baby Alba’s arrival, the couple have been posting frequent updates on her progress to fans on social media.

Last month, Charlotte spoke about the “light” her daughter brings to her whenever she’s been feeling sad, following the loss of her “nana”.

She wrote in an emotional post: “Felt a little upset this morning with a wave of sadness about my nana. I guess it comes in waves and that pain won’t ever go away.

“But EVERYTIME I look at my beautiful little Alba Jean and I say her name I’m reminded of my amazing nana.”

Charlotte continued: "This little girl has been the biggest shining light in this time for me and my family. On my saddest days she makes me smile and that’s just too special not to share with you all…The little lady who has been our strength through all of this wants to say hiya.

"My little Alba Jean Ankers my whole world and more.”
