In 2017, former Celebrity Big Brother star Chloe Goodman went through a botched liposuction, but today feels like a “different woman” after having corrective surgery.
The former Ex On The Beach star, 30, spoke to OK! back in June about the skin mottling and fibrosis she had been left with, after having Vaser liposuction abroad six years ago. But as she exclusively unveiled the latest results of her surgery and said it’s “the best decision", Chloe explained that she had her reservations about going under the knife again.
“As a mum, you definitely have the fear of, ‘What if I don’t wake up? Am I putting myself through all of this for vanity?’ I might not wake up tomorrow and my kids won’t have a mum,” Chloe, who shares Isla, three, and Hudson, now 18 months, with fiancé Grant Hall, told us.
Since having the original surgery abroad, the glamour model would “look in the mirror" and "hate" herself “even more” and was worried Grant wouldn't find her attractive.
“The kids needed a happy, confident mum and I was miserable,” she explained.
After doing some research, Chloe discovered the skin mottling was because the surgeon abroad had taken too much fat away.
She said of the recent op: “They have corrected it [the mottling] as best as they can. I’m definitely not bothered about it as much now. Six years of my life hiding and editing my stuff so you couldn’t see it, and amazingly they were able to fix it. I am so grateful.“
Chloe, who admitted to spending six years of her life hiding her body and editing photos, to help blur out the scars, is now happy with “the new results”.
“I feel like a different woman. It’s not even about the surgery, it’s about what it’s done for my happiness and confidence. It’s made the biggest difference.”
Chloe is now looking forward to tying the knot with her footballer fiancé in Portugal next year and to “a selfish few years” in which she hopes to reclaim her identity.
“I want to meet up with my friends who I haven’t seen in God knows how long and grab back a bit of independence again. I want to enjoy my family, my kids and my career but also still have that time for me."
