Christine McGuinness has candidly discussed her marriage to Top Gear host Paddy, offering more detail on the “difficult” situation they are facing at the moment.

Earlier this week, 34 year old Christine confirmed to OK! that she and Paddy, 48, have had their fair share of problems during their 11-year marriage.

And now, she’s reflected further on their latest troubles – stating that she is not the cause of this “situation”.

Christine, who shares three children with Paddy, cryptically said: “What I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now, and the same for him.”

Speaking to Fabulous Magazine, she continued: “I can’t deny we are having a very, very difficult time

“It’s just — we’ve been together 15 years, 11 years married: we are gonna have ups and downs — but this situation at the minute — I don’t want to go into it too much but I will just say that I didn’t cause this situation.”

Rumours that Christine and Paddy’s marriage is on the rocks began swirling when the model took part in reality show The Games back in May.

Fans soon spotted that the mum-of-three’s husband hadn’t publicly shared his support for her.

Christine later jetted off for a rare holiday with pals, joining a group including her The Games co-star Chelcee Grimes for a week in sunny Croatia.

Christine posted plenty of snaps from the trip, sharing poolside bikini pics and videos from stunning days out, including one to a waterfall where she added a cryptic caption to her post.

She wrote: "Sometimes you just need to let go – and fall like a waterfall.”

Since returning to the UK, Christine has been spotted attending a swish celeb-packed event – doing so alone but while wearing her wedding ring.

She and Paddy were spotted on a joint outing earlier this month, however both stars looked decidedly downcast while Christine appeared to be tearful in one picture.

The couple met back in 2007 and married three years later. They have three children together – twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and Felicity, six.

All three of the kids have autism and while making a documentary about family life, Christine discovered that she too has the condition.

The documentary explored the adjustments Paddy and Christine have made to accommodate their children’s needs, including everything from small daily tweaks to their unique Christmas plans.
