Country superstar Cole Swindell is scheduled to perform at Minneapolis’ Target Field on Thursday, August 4, following a game between the Minnesota Twins and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Swindell will play a full 75-minute set, which will be the the first-ever post-game concert at Target Field. Target Field has hosted 17 concerts and music festivals since opening in 2010, but Swindell will be the first act in the venue’s 13-year history to perform following a Twins game.
Admission to the concert is free with a ticket to that night’s 6:40 p.m. game.
“Twins baseball and country music on a summer evening at Target Field is a fantastic combination,” said Twins President & CEO Dave St. Peter. “We are thrilled to bring Cole Swindell and his 11 No. 1 hits – and counting! – to our ballpark, and we look forward to sharing a fun night of great baseball and music with our fans on Thursday, August 4.”
