Comic had sex with school girl and called her

Russell Brand has been accused of sexual and emotional abuse by a woman who was 16 at the time of their alleged relationship. It is claimed he referred to her as “the child”.

According to The Times a woman, referred to in the publication as Alice – which is not her real name – is said to have contacted The Sunday Times with allegations against the celebrity after she became aware it was investigating the Essex-born star.

The 48-year-old comedian is accused of being sexually and emotionally abusive towards the woman who was 16 at the time.

He was 30 during the alleged three-month relationship in 2006. The actor vehemently denies the allegations and took to social media to dispel the claims made by the Times, Sunday Times and Channel 4 Dispatches, who collaborated in the investigation into him.

In a video posted on The Times website, it is claimed that Alice told the publication she believed Mr Brand “groomed” her.

She also claimed: “I was sat up in the bed up against the headboard, and he forced his penis down my throat and I couldn’t breathe.

“He was just choking me, and I couldn’t breathe, I was pushing him away and pushing him away and he wasn’t backing off at all. And so I ended up having to punch him really hard in the stomach to get him off.

“And then he like fell backwards and I was crying and he said ‘oh I only want to see your mascara run anyway’.”

Mr Brand posted a video on YouTube and Twitter/X in which he said: “I’ve received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter, and an email, one from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like, my community festival should be stopped, that I shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel, but amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.

“These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies, and as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very very promiscuous.

“Now during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual.”

He adds: “I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent, and I’m being transparent about it now as well, and to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal, that I absolutely deny, makes me question, is there another agenda at play?
