Dancing On Ice star Ben Foden’s 3 year old daughter rushed to hospital after nasty accident

Former rugby star Ben Foden's three year old daughter has been rushed to hospital following an incident in a parkour gym.

The tot, Farrah, has suffered a hairline fracture after leaping into a foam pit and now finds herself in a cast for four-to-six weeks.

Dancing On Ice ace Ben shared on Instagram a snap of his daughter on a hospital bed as he stood beside her.

Along with the snap, Ben, 38, wrote over the top: "What summer vaca is complete without a trip to the ER.

"So a tiny hairline fracture in the ankle means a cast up to the thigh for toddlers bec they slip out of them so easily. Fml."

Farrah's mum Jackie Smith Foden also released a statement where she said it was "unfathomable" to think that her daughter would be so restricted in movement for the next month, or possibly more.

Going into greater detail on the incident, Jackie revealed that her child had been enjoying herself in the parkour gym and jumped from the lip of a foam pit. But she was unaware at the time that another child had removed foam blocks from the pit which resulted in a nasty landing for the kid.

In her angry statement, the mum said: "She jumped in and her foot hit the floor inside the pit, which insanely wasn't padded."

Ben and Jackie got married in 2019 in a lavish ceremony onboard a luxury yacht in Nantucket, Massachusetts.

He had been married to Una Healey from pop group The Saturdays, but the pair split shortly before his relationship with Jackie got underway.

Speaking at the time the sportsman told The Sun: "I met a girl who seriously swept me off my feet and in a time of hardship showed me love, a deep devoted love."

The following year after the wedding, their daughter Farrah was welcomed into the world but the pregnancy and birth were not without complications.

A few weeks before her daughter was due in June 2020, Jackie began to develop Cholestatis which can become a large problem for the liver.

It was then decided by the doctors that labor needed to be induced at just 37 weeks which is considered term.

The birth lasted for a full 24 hours as issues arose when Jackie was not dilating properly which meant her mum and stepdad needed to scrub up and lend a hand to the birth.

Thankfully, half an hour later they were able to welcome their baby girl.
