Ariana Madix is stepping back into the spotlight!
Weeks after her love life came to a dramatic end, the Vanderpump Rules star made her first public appearance on Saturday night while attending the “Make That Sandwich” show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. Innerestingly, the venue is just minutes away from her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s new establishment Schwartz & Sandy’s Lounge. Don’t worry, though, it doesn’t sound like they had an awkward run-in! Instead, Ariana was soaking up a ton of love and support from her biggest fans!
According to an eyewitness who spoke with Page Six on Sunday, Ariana was greeted with “thunderous cheers and applause from the crowd,” mostly made up of VPR fans, when she took the stage for the live show, which was dubbed “the only sandwich making gameshow on the planet.”
While it’s a wacky way to return to the limelight, it sounds like this event was the perfect opportunity for the 37-year-old to connect with fans in a Scandoval-free zone! The insider added:
“From the smile on her face and the little dance she did while walking out on stage, she appeared a little surprised but super appreciative of all the fan support.”
They continued:
“And judging from the audience’s excitement for Ariana, it was evident that the majority of people showed up to see her.”
The source also noted the Bravo personality “looked carefree” the whole time, sharing:
“She seemed happy to have a fun night where there was absolutely no mention of ‘Scandoval.’”
There may have been no mention of Tom or his mistress Raquel Leviss — who were exposed for having a months-long affair earlier this month — but some other sparks were flying!
The outlet also obtained clips from the late-night show which featured comedian Connor Wood (AKA Fibula on social media) who was “nervous” to meet the newly single lady! In a video, he’s heard joking to host Lindsay Ames who called him out for being shy:
“You weren’t supposed to say that. I played it really cool backstage.”
Lindsay teased:
“I totally outed you, but you know what? It is really adorable.”
When Connor’s attempts to change the subject didn’t work, Ariana then quipped:
“Who would be nervous ?”

Aw! We have a feeling whenever Ariana’s ready to move on after processing this heartbreaking split, she’ll have no shortage of men to pick from!
Another thing that had fans excited at the theatre was the fact several cameras were stationed around the venue… perhaps for Vanderpump Rules?! While nothing was confirmed, we know the crew has been working overtime to capture all the latest juicy drama for season 10, so it only seems natural to film what Ariana’s been up to post-breakup! Aside from a sighting in Mexico while she attended celebrity chef Michael Jenkins’ wedding to Lauren Basco, this is the first time the scorned woman’s been seen in public since Tom and Raquel’s alleged affair made headlines.
