DIY SOS star Nick Knowles to marry for 3rd time to girlfriend 27 years his junior

DIY SOS star Nick Knowles has reportedly gotten engaged to a woman 27 years his junior, and the pair are gearing up to get married.

The TV star, who is known for presenting various shows on the BBC, is said to tying the knot for a third time.

Nick, who recently turned 60, is said to have proposed to his girlfriend Katie Dadzie last month during a trip to the US, where he's been filming.

Brunette bombshell Katie is 33 years old and runs a lingerie business, but the pair hit it off almost straight away when their children started playing together at soft play.

Katie has two daughters of similar age to Nick's eight year old son Eddie, who is his youngest child.

According to The Sun, a friend of the couple said: "They are so in love and absolutely adore each other.

"Katie is over the moon that Nick popped the question," the source added.

OK! has contacted representatives for Nick for comment.

Nick and Katie started dating back in 2021, and have been going from strength to strength ever since.

While the couple have suffered from constant trolling online over their large age gap, Katie defended the pair's relationship earlier this year.

Having had enough of the criticism, the business owner told The Sun on Sunday that her beau has a "Peter Pan complex" so doesn't act his age.

“He is like a teenage boy and has so much energy. I also act a bit older, so it works out," the star explained, going on to say that they were also keeping their separate homes.

Katie also gushed that they're "really happy" and support each other's career dreams and goals.

Nick married his first wife Gillian Knowles in 1995, and the pair stayed together for a further five years before deciding to separate.

The DIY SOS host later wed Jessica Rose Moor in 2012, but they also called it quits only four years later, in 2016.

Nick is father to four children – Tuesday, Tyrian-J, Edward and Charlie.

Earlier this year, Nick spent some more time in America as he was filming in Nevada for his documentary series Into The Grand Canyon.

Outside of reportedly focusing on getting married and his family, the star has been pushing himself to the max with his work experiences.

Speaking about the incredible opportunity, the documentary maker shared during an appearance on BBC Breakfast: "I fell in love with Death Valley in spite of the fact I did myself some quite serious damage, in terms of, I worked out in the heat in Death Valley with someone who does that in the heat."

The star later clarified that he had managed to injure himself after "digging up invasive trees and things".
