Do YOU recognise these BBC Breakfast stars? Presenters look completely different as they share throwback snaps from the 80s
BBC Breakfast went back to the 80s as presenters Ben Thompson and Sally Nugent shared images of their co-stars when they were younger.
The newsreaders attempted to guess the identities of their unrecognisiable colleagues during Monday’s episode, who looked completely different.
However, the task proved to be a challenge for the pair, who shared a giggle as they struggled to decipher their pals in the throwback pictures.

Vintage: Sally said: ‘This one’s my favourite coming up now. Who’s that, who’s that crazy kid…’

Sally began, ‘See if we can guess who this is,’ as a younger image of meteorologist Carol wearing a red headband appeared on the screen.
She said: ‘Aw, I think I know who that beauty is.’
Ben added, ‘Love that headband,’ before Sally chimed in: ‘It’s our gorgeous Carol.’

‘Who could that be? Miss Nugent,’ Ben sarcastically asked when he clocked Sally’s picture.
She hit back, ‘What? You’ve given it away already,’ while he replied, ‘Look at that pose, that’s a full 80s pose, as well. I remember being told you’re not allowed to move as the camera won’t work.’
Sally concluded, ‘I still love a shirt dress.’

When it got to Nina, Sally said: ‘I love this guessing game, I haven’t seen these.
‘Who are we looking at?’ she asked as a family shot was shown on-screen.
Ben guided her, ‘Here, it’s lit up for us bottom left,’ before adding, ‘I know who that is… hasn’t changed a bit.
Sally concluded, ‘Oh, she looks exactly the same.’

The frazzled star said, ‘Who’s that? Who do you think that is riding the cat?’ before revealing, ‘It is in fact… you.’

Ahead of Holly’s vintage shot being shown, Sally said: ‘This one’s my favourite coming up now. Who’s that, who’s that crazy kid… it’s Holly!
