Albert Square is set for another dramatic week as EastEnders fans will see Amy Mitchell rushed to hospital after taking drugs.

The drugs are bought by a desperate Stuart (played by Ricky Champ). But with Linda's words still ringing in his ears, he decides against taking them and ends up giving them to Jada.

He heads to the GP but after failing to get an appointment he snaps and creates a situation in the surgery.

As things come to a head, he makes a big decision about his future.

Stuart’s drugs eventually end up in the hands of the teens and Amy – wanting to impress Denzel – takes them.

There’s panic as Amy (played by newbie Ellie Dadd), who is the daughter of Roxy Mitchell and Jack Branning, collapses and is rushed to hospital.

Mick and Linda bond over Annie and at one point almost kiss before they are interrupted.

Their closeness doesn’t go unnoticed by Janine. However, her attempts to flirt with Mick fall flat as he is preoccupied with thoughts of Linda.

With Linda’s trial approaching, Mick gets her to go over the events of the crash again.

They learn from her call log that she rang the Vic that night and Janine is thrown into a panic. Then Sharon says she saw Janine answer a call that evening.

The explosive car crash saw Linda end up in hospital, with Janine attempting to cover the truth by moving a drunk Linda into the driver’s seat to make it look like she was responsible.

The scenes saw the pair smash into a tree with Janine losing control of the car after avoiding an oncoming lorry.

Just moments before the collision, the duo were arguing over their love interest Mick.

Mick Carter actor Danny Dyer is set to leave Walford later this year after his departure was confirmed in January.

An EastEnders spokesperson said in a statement: “Danny will be leaving EastEnders when his contract comes to an end later this year.

"Danny has made Mick Carter an iconic character which we shall always be grateful for.

"However we won’t be saying goodbye just yet as there’s still quite some time – and plenty of explosive drama for Mick – to come before he departs Walford."

Also this week, the noise from Finlay and Felix’s stall winds up the other traders but Billy and Whit help the pair out.

Later, Billy tells Finlay his feelings for Honey and his new mate vows to see what he can do.

Newcomer Finlay (Ashley Byam) had previously pretended to be Honey’s boyfriend after sensing awkwardness between the pair as Billy tried to ask her on a date.
