Emily Andre stuns as she enjoys date night with Pete at Together for Short Lives ball

Dr Emily Andre looked gorgeous in a white ensemble as she enjoyed a date night with Peter Andre at the Together for Short Lives ball.

Peter Andre and his wife Emily looked sensational as they left the kids at home for a rare night out, proudly attending the charity event on Friday.

The couple, who got married in 2015, looked utterly in love as they arrived at the star-studded event holding hands, Pete in a smart black suit and Emily in her stylish gown.

The mum-of-two opted for a short, figure hugging dress that came complete with cape-style sleeves.

The NHS doctor added a touch of bling to the outfit with silver dainty jewellery and a shimmering clutch bag.

Meanwhile Peter wore an all-black tuxedo ensemble completed with a black shirt, tie and blazer.

The singer posted photos of the two from the night on his Instagram, in which he praised organisers of the event, and simply tagged Emily's Instagram handle at the end.

Father-of-four Peter captioned the photos: "Amazing evening performing and more importantly, attending as a proud patron for @togetherforshortlives.

"The work they do for families is incredible. I have visited @chestnuttreehouse many times and love supporting all the work that together for short lives do.

"Had so much fun getting everyone up off their seats and celebrating after lots was raised. @dr_emily_official @clairepowellcan #tonycowell @emmalloydcowell @simoncowell".

However, one fan was not happy that he had left out his wife from the comment, saying he should have mentioned how incredible she looked.

Peter answered the comment directly after several of his fans had taken to his defence. He wrote: "she is. But last night was about the families [red love heart emojis]".

Speaking to OK! at the event, the proud father went on to talk about his two oldest children, Junior and Princess, who are just starting out in their showbiz careers.

Junior has just released his first single whereas Princess has been offered a four figure modelling deal with PrettyLittleThing.

Peter gushed over his children's achievements so far, but outlined some strict rules when it comes to joining the family business.

"Junior was 16 before he was allowed to do any scheduled stuff," he tells our reporters. "And Princess is still doing GCSE's, so she's only does little tiny things here and there. No scheduled work – nothing like that."

The annual charity event that Peter and Emily attended – amongst a series of other stars – celebrates the work of representatives of Together for Short Lives, who handle children's palliative care.

As well as supporters Peter and Emily, the charity's patrons include Simon Cowell, Dame Elizabeth Fradd DBE, Rosa Monckton, Mason Mount, John Overton and Holly Willoughby.
