One of the Dales' favourite leading ladies Isabel Hodgins has finally made her relationship with new squeeze Adam Whitehead "Insta-official".

Standing side-by-side with her new man, the couple posed before an extravagant Christmas tree – Isabel pairing a grey tweed blazer with black trousers and some silver stilettos, while Adam opted for a casual shirt and jeans.

The soap star's new romance comes after her split from her Emmerdale co-star Michael Parr in 2019.

Isabel, who plays Victoria Sugden in the ITV soap, was previously in a relationship with Michael – who played her on-screen brother-in-law – but was reported to have had a fling with former co-star and I'm A Celeb winner Danny.

The Sun reported that ITV declined to comment and none of the three parties involved addressed the claims directly.

A source said at the time: "Michael was also angry. He thought he and Danny were close friends.

"The tension between them caused major problems on set, because Michael made it crystal clear he didn’t want to be around Danny. The revelations caused arguments among the cast who split into two camps."

Despite the rumours, Isabel and Michael remained an item for several years, until 2019 when the couple split and Michael moved to the US with the hope of furthering his acting career.

A source told The Sun following their split: "They drifted apart and felt it was better to be mates.

"He has been throwing himself into his social life and has just been on a lads' hol and she is focusing on work, they're both young and want to follow their dreams."

Isabel and new man Adam appear smitten in the sweet snap as they make their Instagram debut.

Meanwhile, Danny Miller has tied the knot with high school sweetheart Steph Jones.

The couple exchanged traditional vows at the Nunsmere Hall Hotel in front of 140 of their friends and family, including their adorable nine month old son Albert and Danny's former Emmerdale co-stars, in July this year.
