There is said to be fury in the royal household at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's suggestions that there was an insider "war against Meghan" after their latest explosive Netflix trailer dropped.

The bombshell trailer, which came out yesterday, showed that Harry and Meghan have no intention of holding back when it comes to slamming the royal institution, which includes Harry's immediate family such as his father, King Charles III and brother, Prince William, Prince of Wales.

There were no thinly-veiled threats in the clip, but instead a clear signal that Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, are going all in on the royal family, with Harry seemingly accusing them of "planting stories" in the press, saying that life in the royal family was a "dirty game".

He can be heard saying: "There's a hierarchy of the family, you know, there's leaking, but there's also planting of stories. It's a dirty game."

In another clip, Meghan could be heard saying: "I realised, they're never going to protect you," which appears to be referring to the Royal Family.

The comments are said to have evoked fury within the palace walls, with royal experts claiming it is "absolutely wrong" to suggest that the Palace was working against them, and actually "unprecedented steps" had been taken to support them.

A source also told The Daily Telegraph that, contrary to Harry and Meghan's claims, royal staff were instead "bending over backwards to work with them".

They added that it was "non-stop on their behalf" when it came to defending Meghan and Harry against negative stories – which began when rumours emerged of the couple's behaviour towards staff.

Another commentator claimed that the suggestions that the narrative concerning comparisons between Kate and Meghan were "fabricated" and that there was "no difference" on their treatment by the press.

Harry and Meghan's six-part documentary, named Harry and Meghan, will finally air on Netflix on Thursday, with three episodes planned to be shared then and a further three on December 15.

There is a strong suggestion in the latest trailer that Harry and Meghan are blaming her treatment on race, as one ally can be heard saying: "It was a war against Meghan to suit other people’s agendas."

Another then says: "It’s about hatred, it’s about race."

The latest trailer comes just days after Harry and Meghan's first explosive trailer drop, which just so happened to be released on the same day as Harry's brother, Prince William, and his wife Kate Middleton officially started their royal trip to Boston.

Both Netflix trailers show various clips of Meghan crying, suggesting that she and Harry are going to allow unprecedented access into their lives.
