George Clooney and Amal Clooney have touched down in Venice ahead of the 80th edition of the International Film Festival this week.
The married couple were spotted wandering the breathtaking Italian city while holding hands, just one day before the event kicked off.
In pictures taken during their stroll, Amal, 45, looked both elegant and opulent in a monochrome floral shift dress.
Her daytime ensemble featured a mini hemline, bold flowers, and a sleeveless design.
To accessorise the casual look, the barrister opted to strut the streets in a pair of pointed slingback black heels, and carried a small black leather handbag.

Her long brown locks were worn loose and she kept the sun out of her eyes by wearing a pair of oversized brown sunglasses.
George, 62, opted for a smart yet sophisticated look that featured a casual navy blue polo shirt – which he wore open with all the buttons unfastened.
He paired the top with pale blue pinstripe trousers and round-toed suede shoes.
In terms of accessories, the Ticket to Paradise actor kept it simple and chose to wear a silver watch around his left wrist, topping the look off with a pair of reflective sunglasses.
Amal and her husband are just two of the celebrities who will be attending the 80th Venice International Film amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes across Hollywood.

The event, which will run from Wednesday 30 August until Saturday 9 September has been organised by La Biennale di Venezia and has been directed by Alberto Barbera.
Unfortunately, the event is expected to be a little more lowkey than usual, as a sparse number of independent productions have been given permission to promote their films with the stars present.
According to Variety, a select list of films will be premiering at the Venice Film Festival – with all of these obtaining SAG-AFTRA interim waivers.
This is because these specific productions are independent and have not been produced by AMPTP members.
Stars such as Jessica Chastain, Mads Mikkelson and Caleb Landry Jones are all expected to join George and Amal on the red carpet, as well as Priscilla Presley.
The latter will be attending the festival in honour of the forthcoming Sofia Coppla biopic, Priscilla.
The film – which stars Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi – is based on the 1985 memoir, Elvis and Me, which was written by the 78-year-old herself.
