Mike Tindall cheers on wife Zara with sweet kids at horse-riding trial

Zara Tindall was cheered on by husband Mike Tindall and their three children as she took part in an international horse trial.

The equestrian, 42, took part in the three-day Wellington International Horse Trails in Heckfield where she was supported by Mike and their three children: Mia, nine, Lena, five and Lucas, two.

Zara was watched by her family as she competed in the last day of the event, riding her horse Classicals Euro Star in a smart navy blazer and white trousers.

As well as watching Zara compete in the event, the family were seen enjoying some of the other festivities at the event.

The children were seen tucking into some ice creams, having a go on the teacups in the fairground with dad Mike and bouncing on the bouncy castle.

Former I’m A Celeb star Mike opted for a casual look, wearing a purple t-shirt, black shorts and a pair of white trainers.

The family were seen sweetly holding hands as they enjoyed a day out in the countryside and supported Zara in her latest event.

Zara is an accomplished equestrian and once won a Silver Medal at the London 2012 Olympics for her talents.

Her mother, Princess Anne, also enjoyed a groundbreaking equestrian career and served as President of the International Equestrian Federation from 1987-93.

Zara and Mike recently celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary after marrying in a stunning ceremony held at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh in 2011.

The pair first met during the Australian Rugby World Cup in 2003 former rugby player Mike was playing for England and Zara was on her gap year.

Mike took to Instagram to share a side by side image of him and his wife as Mattel-inspired Barbie dolls to celebrate their anniversary earlier this month.

In the cute photo, Zara’s Barbie alternate boasts bouncy blonde hair and sports a pink waistcoat and leggings.

Mike’s Ken doll is kitted out in a beige suit with a complementary white shirt. Captioning the picture, he wrote: “Thanks for the messages, it’s been a great 12 years. Feel we are getting younger!!! [crying laughing emoji] #zarbieandTen”.

Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2011 about their first meeting, Mike explained: “Austin gave me her number and said, 'She wants you to text her, to say where you're all going out after the final so she can come along'.”

Following their initial encounter, the pair began talking and their relationship went from strength to strength. When asked if Zara's royal status added to any pressure he may have felt during the early stages of their relationship, Mike went on: “No, because we were friends first, and then William and Harry were massive English fans at the time. So we’d met them numerous times.

"So as things go, I met more of the family than you would normally have met of the family of the woman you start dating.”
