Happy Thanksgiving from Hollywood! Eva Longoria, Molly Sims, Reese Witherspoon- as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas – show fans how they are celebrating Turkey Day

Hollywood loves to hop onto social media on Thanksgiving morning to show their fans how they are celebrating America’s excuse to one day of the year overeat like crazy.

Some are busy in the kitchen putting the turkey in the oven or decorating that apple pie just so or showing off their autumnal décor.

Others are on power walks to prepare for the big, calorie-laden feast or taking in a football game with their pals or the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with Lea Michele performing.

Here is a look at what the A list of Tinseltown – including Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, Molly Sims, Eva Longoria, Kristin Cavallari, Reese Witherspoon, as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas – are up to this Thursday in the last big holiday before Christmas.

It is one of the biggest holidays of the year with almost 300 million Americans dining on a turkey dinner with all the fixings like mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts.

There is also the tradition of watching the famed Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade from New York City. 

About 3 million people are expected to attend the 96th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan as the weather warms up and skies are clear

The parade will feature 16 giant characters, 28 floats, 12 marching bands, 700 clowns and several music stars.


Modern approach: Modern Family vet Sofia Vergara showed off her dessert table before sharing that she did not cook her Thanksgiving meal. Rather, the siren ordered the food and put the meals on plates, making it seem as if she cooked everything herself

Cooking while good looking: Eva Longoria was seen in her kitchen as she said, ‘One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving (besides the food) is spending quality time in the kitchen with my family’

Performers in the parade include Paula Abdul, The Roots, Jimmy Fallon, Jordan Sparks. Broadway singer Lea Michele kicked off the festivities with a performance of Don’t Rain on My Parade from her Broadway Show Funny Girl.

Mariah Carey is set to be the grand finale performer as she performs All I Want for Christmas Is You at the Macy’s store in Herald Square.

On social media, a slew of stars were quick to make the annual holiday a photo op as they wished their followers well.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady talked on Monday about Thanksgiving, which will be his first as a single dad.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, 45, said on his SiriusXM podcast, Let’s Go!, Monday, ‘I think myself as a parent and being grateful during Thanksgiving, it’s always time for family.

‘When you think about this holiday and the commitment that parents make and that my parents made to me and my career is unbelievable.’
