Football legend Harry Redknapp, 75, revealed how many horses he had on the latest episode of The Jonathan Ross Show. The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner previously claimed to have 10 horses, confessing that his wife Sandra only knew about one of them.
Harry appeared alongside son Jamie Redknapp, 49, on The Jonathan Ross Show, where he spoke candidly about his race horses.
Asked about what he and Sandra disagree on in their marriage, Harry explained: “Silly things. I’m so untidy and pretty useless around the house. She might have a go about not keeping the place tidy.”
“I know one thing – horses,” Jamie interjected, to which Harry replied: “I’m a racehorse owner. I buy racehorses.”
“How many have you got?” Jamie asked, which made his dad a little nervous, as he admitted: “Well, mum will be watching this programme…I’ve got 18.
“She knows about one. Sandra came into the room the other day and I said, ‘My horse is racing. Look, it’s going to win.’ And she said, ‘I didn’t think that was the name.’ And I said, ‘We changed the name’.”
Harry has been married to Sandra for 54 years, and sweetly discussed how they had gone out last year to mistakenly celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary a year earlier than intended.
Despite the disagreement on horses, Harry also added the secret to his long marriage with Sandra is that they “get on great” and that he “couldn’t row with Sandra if he tried”.
Harry’s revelation about his 18 horses comes after he previously admitted to owning 10 during an appearance on Chris Evans’ Virgin Radio Breakfast Show back in 2019.
Chatting about horse racing, the former football manager told the radio host: “Well, I keep buying horses.”
The DJ asked: “So you have a couple of horses?” to which Harry then replied: “I’ve got 10. Sandra only thinks I’ve got one.
“I hope she’s not listening,” he added cheekily, before sharing a similar anecdote about pretending to share the name of his horse.
“I didn’t tell her about the other nine,” he added sheepishly.

Harry’s story about his horses comes a few years after The Sun Online revealed the star had set up his own horse racing business.
The football star named his enterprise the Three Kings Racing and based it near his Dorset home to buy young horses and train them into winners.
Harry and Jamie were not the only guests to join Jonathan on his show, which featured a performance from singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding.
At the end of the show, the star sang her new single Let It Die, which is from her forthcoming album Higher Than Heaven.
Rita Ora, Jonathan’s fellow judge on The Masked Singer, also made an appearance to talk about the show’s upcoming I’m A Celebrity Special, which airs this Sunday on ITV.
Also joining the presenter was Hollywood actor and singer Luke Evans, who was there to promote the release of his new album A Song For You.
Finally, Jonathan was joined by comedian and Sex Education star Sindhu Vee, who is starring in the upcoming film Matilda: The Musical.
The Jonathan Ross Show airs this Saturday at 10.10PM on ITV and is also available to watch on ITV Hub.
