Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield get festive at boozy This Morning party

ITV's This Morning team had their annual Christmas lunch yesterday, 6 December, where they enjoyed a boozy meal alongside some dancing and carol singing with the likes of James Blunt.

Hosts Holly Willoughby, 41, and Phillip Schofield, 60, were joined by their fellow colleagues Rochelle Humes, 33, Alison Hammond, 47, Gok Wan, 48, Dr Zoe Williams, 42, Dermot O'Leary, 49, and many more familiar faces from our screens at a pub following work.

Gok, who recently said Alison was a "deserving winner" on NTA Best Presenter, was one of the first to post about their time together as he shared a group photo on his Instagram, where the whole team crowded around a long table decked out with bottles of wine and Christmas sparkles.

"@thismorning Christmas lunch! There will def be some sore heads on the show tomorrow!" he captioned this with a crying with laughter emoji.

Meanwhile, Alison shared several photos from the lunch, which she went to in a black sparkling dress, including a selfie featuring herself, Phillip and Holly, as well as another of herself with Dr Zoe.

Other snaps on her stories included on of her with Phillip and another of Holly, who donned a grey jumper with silver baubles all over it, alongside This Morning editor Martin Frizell, 63.

Sharing a peak into the actual festivities, Alison also posted a clip of everyone having fun together – with some scenes showing them all dancing and singing to carols together, while others saw them clapping and giving speeches.

Rochelle posted some intimate details from the lunch too, including her place setting that had a sign with her name as well as the menu she had chosen for herself: beetroot, sea bream and cheese for dessert. She also had a Christmas cracker in front of her as well as a flute full of Champagne.

Another photo showed her pal Alison standing with a crown on her head as she emphatically moved her hand.

Over this, Rochelle, who recently stunned at the British Fashion Awards, wrote: "The Queen giving her speech.." followed by a clapping hands emoji, crying with laughter emoji and stars emojis.

Later, Phillip shared a clip of radio DJ Chris Evans, 56, and singer James, 48, who decided to crash the party to sing some carols with the team.

Taking the lead, Chris led everyone in singing O Come Let Us Adore Him with a pint in his hand as Alison sang along with him in a very enthusiastic manner.

"When @chrisevanstfi & @jamesblunt crash the @thismorning Christmas party," it was captioned with two crying with laughter emojis.

No doubt, the team will be walking onto the show with some "sore heads" today, 7 December, where they may dish out some more details…
