Holly Willoughby hated TOWIE star after savage sex life comment

Holly Willoughby 'hated' former TOWIE star Pete Wicks, he has claimed, after she dished out a savage dig.

Pete, 35, and his best pal, former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, 31, interviewed celebrities on the red carpet at the recent National Television Awards, where they managed to snag some time with This Morning's Holly.

But a savage dig directed from Holly to Pete seems to have made him think she hates her after they met a few years ago on now-defunct ITV show, Celebrity Juice.

He discussed it with Sam on their smash-hit podcast, Staying Relevant, as they talked about the highlight of meeting Holly.

Sam said: "She's like the queen of the NTAs," before Pete slyly interrupted with "former queen".

Talking about their chat with her, Sam explained: "I just saw Holly Willoughby walking down the red carpet..

"We managed to bring her in. She didn't really have anywhere to go but Peter didn't care. I was like 'This is f***ing Holly Willoughby'.

Pete then asked Sam: "Let me put this into perspective. Is that the first time you've met Holly?"

Pete went on: "Okay, so I've met Holly quite a few times. And I think she's really lovely. However, she's so good at this that she's not that interesting to interview.

"And also I have a sneaking suspicion that she genuinely hates me.

"And she did throw some shade, she does it every time. So, I wasn't that fussed.

"I think it was from Celebrity Juice a few years ago and I think she thinks I'm some kind of f***boy a***hole and she would be absolutely correct in that but she makes it known."

Sam then added how they told Holly about the one time they shared a bed with her This Morning co-star Alison Hammond.

But Holly directed a savage dig Pete's way, as she said: "That doesn't surprise me with your track record."

Discussing his reaction, Pete said: "I was like f***ing hell…"

OK! has contacted Holly's representatives for comment.

Holly is now presenting This Morning alongside a roster of guest presenters including Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson.

It comes after her former regular co-presenter and ex-pal Phillip Schofield quit after 21 years of fronting the show, following his admission of an affair with a young male colleague.

In the wake of the scandal, This Morning faced a fresh blow this week when they sadly lost out on a coveted National Television Award to BBC rival The Repair Shop.
