Lucy Alexander, 51, has taken to Instagram after having a wild night with her pals. The former Homes Under the Hammer presenter shared snaps of the booze-fuelled fun she had last night, but left best friend Ruth Langsford to deal with the consequences.
Lucy took a snap of several Prosecco bottles littered in Louise Alexander’s back garden.
The Homes Under The Hammer star shared the story with her 52,200 followers.
The previous stories she posted were photos of her and her two friends as they sang karaoke.
On the top of the next photo she captioned it with commentary, explaining the aftermath of the evening.
She said: “So this was what made us sound so good.
“Gutted my fave chapel down fizz was drunk.
“I didn’t even appreciate it amongst all the fun and singing.
“@Louiseathenapr sorry about your messy garden.
“Get @Ruthlangsford back to tidy up.”
She explained in the previous photo how the night was “seriously HILARE”. (sic)
Lucy also added that the group of friends “sung their hearts out like rockstars on the karaoke.”
In the next few photos on her story, Lucy explained that the messy night was actually a complete accident.
“We actually were only meeting for a coffee at 3pm,” she penned.
She said she knew that would change after “she ditched the car and got an Uber.”
The rest of Lucy’s story included a short clip of her walking her dog in her country village at dusk.
It also included a short video of a very well decorated Christmas house with the caption: “Bet the kids love walking past this.”
Homes Under The Hammer, which airs on daytime television, sees a group of experts help auction buyers get the most from opportunities and often shows some incredible transformations.
Answering a fan on why Lucy is not on the show anymore in 2020, co-star Martin Roberts responded on Twitter: “Lucy left to pursue other opportunities but like you I miss her, and who knows what will happen in the future?”
Since she left the show, Lucy has had a number of presenting jobs, first taking on a five part BBC documentary series Matron, Medicine and Me: 70 Years of the NHS in July 2016.
She also began presenting the daytime show Best of Both Worlds on Channel 4 from 2017 replacing Kirstie Allsopp.
She also co-presented Lost and Found on Channel 4 in 2017 with Simon O’Brien.
You can watch Homes Under The Hammer on weekdays at 10am and Sundays at 10.30am on BBC One.
