Popular BBC show set to return to screens next week in latest schedule shake-up
BBC favourite The One Show will be back on screens next week after taking a summer break.
The popular evening show will recommence on Tuesday 29 August, straight after the Bank Holiday.
The programme has been absent from schedules for weeks after it took an extended summer break.
Fronted by regular hosts Alex Jones, Jermaine Jenas and Ronan Keating, fans will be delighted to see the trio return.
The stars have been enjoying their summer downtime from the show, which airs every weeknight at 7pm.

In total, the programme, which has been replaced temporarily on air by episodes of Rip Off Britain, would have been off for three weeks.
The One Show’s return sees the BBC schedule return to normal after a series of shake-ups over the past few weeks.
The broadcaster’s once-flagship show, soap EastEnders, has been hit by a scheduling crisis this year after being booted out of its regular slot on a number of occasions.
Amid the World Athletics Championship, the BBC soap will only be airing twice this week, stalling the hotly anticipated return of fan favourite Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
Viewers will only get a dose of the Albert Square drama on Tuesday and Thursday this week as the BBC dedicates the soap’s slot to covering live programing from the sports event in Budapest.
The BBC will air a double bill of each episode by making them an hour long.
It was revealed in June Michelle was returning to the soap with her ex-husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and their son Peter (Thomas Law).
Fans were led to believe the mother died in childbirth after plotting to kill her then-husband, however it turns out that 26 years later Cindy is very much alive and has been living a glamorous life in the sun.

At the end of Thursday’s episode last week, the soap aired a shocking new trailer which gave eager fans a glimpse at Cindy’s dramatic return.
In the exciting scenes, Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) looked utterly stunned as Cindy entered the house, despite being presumed dead.
The pair famously despised one another after Cindy cheated on Kathy’s son Ian with David Wickes, and it has been teased that the pair will once again go head-to-head upon Cindy’s return.
And their tense row was teased as Cindy made her grand entrance, with Kathy sharing her shock as she said: ‘You’re dead!’
Clearly no longer ‘dead’, Cindy is set to bring chaos to the BBC soap as she steps back onto Albert Square after claiming she had always wanted to visit.
In the 30-second trailer, Kathy warned everyone against her schemes as her daughter-in-law made her way around Walford.
She wasn’t the only one warning the residents against her as Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) reminds Ian that Cindy has always been deceitful.

It is unclear who Ian is trying to convince but he insisted in one moment: ‘This time it’s different!’
Cindy supposedly died while serving time in prison for hiring a hitman to kill Ian.
But it appears she has been living a double life in witness protection under the moniker ‘Rose Knight’.
In a further twist, she was revealed to be the absent wife of Queen Vic landlord George Knight (Colin Salmon), and mother to their two daughters Gina (Francesca Henry) and Anna (Molly Rainford).
