Former Love Island favourite Hugo Hammond has denied “outrageous” claims of “inappropriate touching” made by his former fellow Islander Sharon Gaffka.

The Daily Mail reports that Sharon, 26, revealed recently that she no longer speaks to Hugo, 25, on the Saving Grace podcast.

She claimed he made jokes about her drink being spiked and also accused him of “inappropriate touching”.

Hugo has since taken to his TikTok story, in a post that has since been removed, to deny the claims made by Sharon.

Sharon chatted to podcast host Grace Barry and revealed information about a night out that has led to the feud between them where she’d been out with Hugo and other friends.

The 2021 Love Island star was asked during the chat as to whether her and Hugo were close.

She said: “So, I was and then I cut him off really abruptly. One of the Islanders had a birthday, so we all went out and my friends had come down from up north for it. They all went to some really gross sports bar.”

The brunette beauty went on to explain that her and her friends left the other islanders to head to club they had a free invite to.

She went on: “Hugo texted me and I had no signal because the club was underground, when I got back to the hotel I had been texting him and he called me a basic b***ch for going to this club – I'd never been to it in my life, I didn't know it had that reputation and I didn't pay a penny so I didn't care, I had a great time.”

“And then I Facetimed him because he seemed quite drunk, and he made jokes about me getting spiked. And then his friend messaged me and was like "You've upset Hugo" so I was like "What are you? 5? Why are your mates messaging me?"

The TV star continued: “Yeah so I haven't spoken to him since, he's tried to message me and I don't think he knows what he's done.”

Podcast host Grace asked: “You don't think he remembers?”

Sharon then revealed that following the FaceTime, Hugo sent her a message, to which she replied telling him to "f*** off".

The 26 year old then added that there's “other stuff going on, like inappropriate touching, which he probably also doesn't remember”.

Hugo took to his TitTok to have his say on the claims made by Sharon in a now deleted post.

He wrote: “Hi guys, I hope everyone’s well! I just wanted to have my say on the comments made by Sharon.

“Firstly, spiking is not a topic I use within my jokes nor do I find funny, it’s horrific to be honest. I wouldn’t joke about someone being spiked, it’s just not who I am, friend or not.”

He went on to describe the comment about “inappropriate touching” as “outrageous”.

He said: “The wild comment made around inappropriate touching is outrageous and simply false, to say something like this is seriously damaging and paints an unfair picture of me. You cannot just throw that sort of language around.

“I am very confused as to why she’s making these comments now? As she mentioned, I’ve tried to contact since so there’s been time to bring it up to be resolved.”

He continued: “And I’m just pretty upset to be honest that she’s taken to social media knowing full well what that can do!”

He ended the post: “All the best, Hugo x”.
