When speaking about her friendship with the Canadian rap star, the 23-year-old femcee also reveals that she often received guidance from her ‘Princess Diana’ collaborator, Nicki Minaj.

AceShowbiz –Ice Spice has once again assured fans that everything’s cool between her and Drake. In fact, the Bronx native said they talk “all the time” and she even called him her “coach.”

The 23-year-old opened up about her and the Canadian star’s friendship when speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1. “[Drake and I] talk all the time and we’re always just laughing about some things that go on,” she shared. “And I’ll ask him, ‘What should I do with this?’ Or, ‘How’d you go about this?’ or, ‘Did you ever experience that?’ “

“And he’ll – I’m not going to give real examples, but – he’ll tell me, ‘I did this and you should do that too, because you can,’ ” the femcee further recalled. “And I’ll be like, ‘You’re right. Period. I’m going to do that.’ It’s like coach vibes.”

Not only Drake, Ice Spice also received guidance from her “Princess Diana” collaborator, Nicki Minaj. “I feel like I am absorbing advice from her and learning from her and stuff,” she noted.

“And she’ll tell me, ‘Learn from my mistake, do this or don’t do that,’ or whatever,” she continued. “And I just really pay attention to what she’s saying because if there’s anyone I’m going to listen to, it’s the queen!”

Drake and Ice Spice were initially hit with dating rumors after they were seen hanging out together at a concert in his hometown of Toronto in late August 2022. It prompted Drizzy to unfollow the raptress on Instagram. He, however, has re-followed Ice Spice on the platform.

Despite being unfollowed, Ice Spice previously claimed that she didn’t have hard feelings toward Drake. “He did [unfollow],” the “Munch (Feelin’ U)” femcee admitted during her appearance on BET’s Rap City 22. She added, “I don’t know why though.”
