I'm A Celeb: Public vote Boy George and Olivia Attwood as Jungle VIPs

I’m A Celebrity viewers vote for Boy George and Olivia Attwood to be Jungle VIPS – but all is not as it seems in cruel new twist during launch show

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers voted to place the new campmates in VIP positions as the show returned on Sunday night.

The ITV show opened up a vote for the public to decide who the special Jungle VIPs would be, but later revealed the acronym stood for very isolated person.

But far from having a luxurious time, the VIP campmates were forced to spend their first night of the show stranded on an island.

Singled out: I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has done away with its usual positions of King and Queen, instead opting for VIP positions in Sunday’s opening episode (Chris Moyles and Olivia Attwood)

Ant and Dec addressed the first group of celebrities, made up of Chris Moyles, Olivia Attwood, Charlene White, Babatúndé Aléshé and Jill Scott, and revealed the public had already been voting for them.

Ant said: ‘Sounds good doesn’t it? And that person is – Olivia! You’re a jungle VIP. Congratulations, how does that feel?’

Olivia admitted: ‘Uncomfortable. I’m guessing it means there’s going to be something bad along the way.’

Chris also pondered what it might mean and said: ‘I think VIP realistically means we get to have a plate of fruit and then do something that scares the living s*** out of me.’
