Queen Of The Jungle Jill Scott celebrated her victory in style as she arrived at a plush hotel in a gold Hummer limousine after Sunday's I’m A Celeb final.
Joined by fiancée Shelly Unitt, Jill, who is'set to make millions' after becoming fan-favourite finalist, received a riotous welcome at the Marriott hotel after three weeks in the jungle ended in victory on Sunday night. Her former campmates gathered in the lobby to greet her, as the England footballer, 35, proudly held up her flower crown upon her return to civilisation.
Fellow finalistsMatt Hancock , 44, and Hollyoaks actorOwen Warner , 23, showed they were no sore losers after being beaten to the crown, with the pair first to run and embrace the former Lioness in the lobby and congratulate her on her win.
Jill was left speechless after she was crowned Queen Of The Jungle, with Owen named runner up. She was crowned by former campmateMike Tindall , who placed the floral crown on her head as she sat victorious on the iconic wooden throne.
Breaking down in tears, an emotional Jill thanked the 12 million viewers who voted: “I can't believe it. I just can't believe it. I think I'm going to owe my grandma a lot of money for the 12 million votes! I don't think there should be one winner, we're all winners.”
A humble winner, ahead of her victory Jill said she was simply happy to be sat with her best friend, Owen: “If Owen was to win King of the Jungle or if I was to win Queen of the Jungle, there's no one I would rather be sat here with so today is just going to be a great day regardless.” The winner and runner up bonded during their time in the camp.
Jill had previously admitted she was overwhelmed simple to have made the final: “When I first stepped into the jungle and looked around at all of the celebrities, no way was I getting anywhere near that final. To be part of the final three with Owen and Matt, God, it just means the world, it really does.”
It’s been quite the year for the star, adding her Queen Of The Jungle title to her Euros win this summer with her fellow Lionesses. Before entering the jungle, Jill was asked about the prospect of winning the show and what that would mean to her: "I don't know yet, it could go either way. Maybe it could be the best year of my life, but the Euros has decided that for me already.
"Tomorrow is never guaranteed so I'm just always willing to give it my all for that day.
"So, I haven't thought too far ahead about winning, I just want to go in there and no matter what the outcome is just kind of make my family proud."
