King Charles III has headed to Scotland alongside the Queen Consort, following his late mother Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral on 19 September.
The new monarch, 73, and his wife, 74, flew from London's RAF Northolt to Aberdeen earlier this week to see out the remainder of the Royal period of mourning.
The couple will no doubt be returning to the Balmoral Estate but rather than stay in Balmoral Castle, which King Charles has now inherited, it's more than likely that they've headed to their private home, Birkhall.
Dad-of-two Charles has previously described Birkhall as "a unique haven of cosiness and character", and he and Camilla even spent some of their honeymoon at the peaceful abode.
The pair also isolated at Birkhall during the first Coronavirus lockdown in 2020.
The property was purchased by Queen Victoria in 1849 for her son Edward VI, after being built in 1715.
King Charles and Camilla have given Royal fans a sneak peek inside their Scottish residence in the past, and the property is certainly impressive.
The home features a grand entrance with a large blue shelter and four plinths, and the pair have decorated with a series of potted plants.
The front door is painted green and features two glass panels, and the entire home is covered with greenery with two concrete steps leading to the doorway.
A huge driveway can also be seen outside, with Charles and Camilla showing off the grand entrance to Birkhall during the pandemic, when they were photographed receiving their post outside.
Charles has also completed many virtual meetings from Birkhall, giving fans a peek inside the spacious reception areas.
The Drawing Room, where he opened the new NHS Nightingale hospital in London remotely via video, is filled with framed family photographs, including one of Charles and Camilla on their wedding day in 2005.
A grand piano sits against the back wall with two large cream lamps either side of it and many vases of flowers. A round table sits in the centre of the space and a pair of patterned curtains cover the windows.
Another room at Birkhall boasts a huge fireplace and cosy green sofas along with two more cream lamps and more photographs.
Charles inherited the cosy 18th-century home from his grandmother when she passed away in 2002, along with her former holiday home, Castle of Mey.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September, he has now inherited Balmoral Castle alongside numerous other Royal residences.
