Shannon Pufahl‘s book “On Swift Horses” is being made into a movie!

It was just revealed that Jacob Elordi, Will Poulter and Sasha Calle are among the cast of the upcoming adaptation, Deadline reports.

Also apart of the cast are Daisy Edgar-Jones and Diego Calva, with Daniel Minahan directing from a script by Bryce Kass.

On Swift Horses follows “newlyweds Muriel and Lee who are beginning a bright new life when he returns from the Korean War. However, this newfound stability is upended by the arrival of Lee’s charismatic younger brother, Julius, a wayward gambler with a secret. A dangerous love triangle is quickly formed, as the three vow to start a new life together in California, but their bid for the American Dream is blown apart when Julius disappears and heads for Las Vegas instead. Muriel embarks on a secret life of her own, gambling on racehorses and discovering a love she never thought possible.”

Filming is currently underway in Los Angeles.

Will and Sasha both have superhero movies coming out, which both debuted trailers on Super Bowl Sunday a few weeks ago. Will is starring in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 as Adam Warlock, while Sasha will be starring in The Flash as Supergirl.

Jacob was rumored to be cast as a superhero in the upcoming new DCU, but that was quickly shut down. He will be playing Elvis Presley, though, in an upcoming movie.
