Strictlys Janette Manrara cradles baby Lyra as she celebrates milestone

Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has posted an adorable snap of herself cradling baby daughter Lyra as she celebrated a milestone 12 weeks since the little one was born.

The professional dancer, 39, welcomed her daughter with her Strictly pro-dancer husband, Aljaž Škorjanec, 33, on July 28.

They've been keeping their fans updated with their life as a family of three ever since, and Janette's latest post shows her doting on her baby girl.

They could be seen sitting on a sofa with Janette wearing a checked shirt as she nuzzled her nose into little Lyra's dark hair.

Lyra looked as sweet as can be in a beige babygrow as she sucked on a dummy.

Over the top of the snap, which was shared to Janette's Instagram page, she wrote: "12 weeks of you," with a rose emoji.

Her fans couldn't get over how much Lyra looks like her dad as they rushed to point out the resemblance in the comments section.

One wrote: "Gosh, she's the image of her daddy [love heart emoji]," whilst a second commented: "I think she's her Daddys double."

A third said: "She's like her dad," and a fourth wrote: "She,s got her dad's eyes. Gorgeous girl.x"

Janette and Aljaž recently gushed over their daughter as they made joint appearance on ITV's Lorraine.

Lorraine Kelly brought up how the couple might feel when their daughter is grown up and brings home her "first boyfriend", before she said: "Can you image the first dance when she's married, with her daddy, oh my goodness".

After a short pause to envision what Lorraine had said, Aljaz blurted out: "I wanna cry now".

The couple also reflected on Lyra’s birth, which was an elective C-section in July, as Janette said: “Everything went super perfect on the day, it was magical. The day couldn’t have gone better. We danced, we sang, it was a big celebration."

On becoming a dad, Aljaz gushed: “I love her, every single day more. I fell in love with Janette, it was love at first sight, but that’s a different level. I tell Janette every single day I couldn’t love my baby any more.”

The pair, who married in 2017, had previously opened up about the birth plans and shared that Janette had been advised to have a caesarean.

Speaking to HELLO!, she said: "It looks like we have a bigger than average size baby, but I’m not an average size human and because of the width of my hips it’s advised that I get a C-section."
