Stephen Colbert reveals Taylor Tomlinson as host of new show
After a recent screen test, comic Taylor Tomlinson beat X Mayo and Ricky Velez to be named as the host of CBS’ new late-night show, After Midnight.
The news was announced on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, whose host will be one of the executive producers of the upcoming series.
The network has already selected the showrunners, head writer, and executive producing team for the program.
After Midnight is a reboot of Comedy Central’s Midnight which was led by Chris Hardwick before coming to an end in 2017.
Following James Corden’s shock CBS departure, the all-new late-night talk show will take over the 12:30 a.m. slot in early 2024.
