Corinne Foxx, the daughter of the Oscar winning actor Jamie Foxx, got engaged to her long term boyfriend at the weekend. The 29 year old actor reportedly met her now fiancé, Joe Hooten, in 2018 while the pair were students at the University of Southern California.

Corinne shared the exciting news via social media, after she dropped a series of professional photos from the romantic moment. She captioned the post: "From the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever," followed by an engagement ring emoji and a love heart.

The first snap in the dump showed a close up of Corinne hugging Joe, while displaying her huge diamond ring on her engagement finger.

The second black and white pic is of the pair hugging and smiling on a small private yacht – which suggests the proposal happened while out at sea.

Corinne and Joe are captured looking intimate during the third and fourth photos, while the last snap sees the newly engaged couple snuggling into each other again.

After sharing their happy news with her 566K followers, a slew of fans flocked to the comment section to offer their congratulations.

"Congratulations to the both of you," one person typed, while a second said: "You look so Safe and Happy! What A Blessing. Congratulations, you deserve this Beautiful.

Others chimed in to offer their words of support, too, as a further fan penned: "Congratulations!! You and Joe are a beautiful couple, I'm so happy for you both. I love these photos, and your ring is beautiful."

Despite these romantic shots – which have offered fans a small glimpse into Corinne and Joe's loved up romance – the actor has refrained from sharing too much about her relationship on social media over the years.

While there are a few couple snaps here and there on her grid, Corinne's Instagram is mostly focused around her work.

Which means instead, her dad Jamie – who recently experienced a health scare – features more in her shared pictures than her husband to be.

From fancy showbiz events to starring alongside her father on his musical game show Beat Shazam, it's clear the father and daughter duo also have an incredibly close bond.
