Jamie Redknapp pays tribute to wife Frida as they celebrate wedding anniversary on holiday

Jamie Redknapp has paid tribute to his wife Frida as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary on holiday with their young son, Raphael.

Former footballer Jamie, 49, shared a snap of the trio, who could be seen with their backs to the camera as they sat on the beach facing the sea, whilst both parents gazed lovingly at their son.

Not only were they celebrating one year of being married, but Frida also turned 39 last week, so Jamie made sure to work that into the post's caption as he wrote: "Perfect anniversary / birthday getaway last week with our little man."

Last week, Jamie shared a number of snaps of himself and Frida to wish her a happy birthday, including one were she appeared to be surfing on a huge pool float, looking lithe in a red bikini.

In one snap she could be seen holding their son Raphael, whilst in another she donned a white bikini and showed off her model credentials as she posed for the camera.

The final snap was a sun-drenched selfie of herself and Jamie as they relaxed on a beach at what appeared to be sunset.

Captioning the post, Jamie wrote: "Happy birthday to an incredible mum and wife @frida_redknapp. We love you so much. Enjoy your day x"

Jamie married Frida in 2021 at Chelsea Registry Office on Monday 18 October, with his his parents Harry and Sandra Redknapp there as witnesses, showing their sign of approval.

Frida was pregnant at the time with the couple's son, Raphael, who is their only child together, however they are each parents to other children.

Frida is thought to have three sons and daughter whom she shares with ex-husband Jonathan Lourie.

Jamie's sons Charlie and Beau, who he shares with ex-wife Louise Redknapp, attended their low-key wedding ceremony.

Jamie and singer Louise announced their decision to split in 2017, after 19 years of marriage and two children together.

Louise, who found fame as part of 90's band eternal, has previously opened up on her split with Jamie, describing him as the "love of my life."

Speaking Fabulous Magazine, she said: "I adore him and always will. Jamie was the absolute love of my life."

Speaking about her decision to go on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, she said: "I guess I was happy to be invisible for a little while, but at the same time I felt I was becoming less and less of a person. And being less and less visible was kind of hard to take when I used to be a pop star."

Her part on the show is thought to have put a strain on their marriage, and they went on to split in 2017.
