Earlier reports stated he was transported to a local hospital after he and another man, possibly his father, were shot, but the Louisiana rapper eventually succumbed to his injuries.

AceShowbiz –JayDaYoungan has passed away after conflicting reports about his condition following a shooting in his hometown. The Louisiana rapper was shot outside a home on Wednesday, July 27 and has died as a result from his injuries, cops have confirmed. He was only 24 years old.

Earlier, it was reported that JayDaYoungan, born Javorius Tykies Scott, and another man, possibly his father, were shot outside a home in Louisiana. According to TMZ, Bogalusa PD received a call just before 6 P.M. for a shooting at a home on Superior Ave.

One victim was reportedly transported to a local hospital by someone on scene, while the second victim, who was critically wounded, was treated by paramedics and rushed to the hospital. At the time, JayDaYoungan was said to be in critical condition with a source close to him saying that he lost a lot of blood and was in surgery.

He sadly didn’t survive. Seemingly confirming his passing, JayDaYoungan’s sister posted on her Instagram Story, “Why did y’all do this to my brother why did y’all f**king do this to my baby man.”

JayDaYoungan’s sister earlier denied the premature reports that her brother had passed away. Taking to Twitter, she insisted, “B***h shut up y’all don’t know that the f**k y’all TALKING BOUT FR.” She also slammed the news on her Instagram Stories. Fuming, she wrote, “Aint nobody f**king dead. Stop d**k eating and go read a f**king book.”

She added in a separate Story, “I hate you freak a** Internet a** n***as and h*es and bulls**t a** fake a** h*e a** blogs, h*e stop tryna confirm s**t y’all don’t f**king know bulls**t a**es.” She later said, “Instagram removed my post but yeah ALL THAT IS CAP!! Nobody dead .. get a life!!” before sharing a video of her with JayDaYoungan and writing, “little sis needs you, push through baby.”

TMZ also obtained a video taken in the aftermath of the shooting, showing JayDaYoungan’s blue car being parked outside the home where he was reportedly shot at. Law enforcement officials told the site about an hour after the shooting the “23 Island” spitter was involved in, another shooting occurred in which a vehicle was struck. Officers believe it’s likely that the two shootings are related. No one was injured in the second shooting.
