FormerLittle Mix starJesy Nelson has reactivated her Instagram account just over a month since quitting the social media site.
31 year old Jesyleft fans concerned back in September after she deactivated her account – a move that coincided with her deleting a large collection of photos and videos from her page.
But now it appears that the Boyz singer is getting ready to embark on a new chapter on social media after reactivating her Instagram, which has a whopping 9.1million followers.
Despite returning to the photo and video sharing platform, Jesy’s account is a blank canvas at present as the singer is yet to share any new content.
As a result, fans of Jesy flocked to Twitter to express their suspense at the move and wasted no time in speculating what the reappearance of the singer’s social media page might mean.
“[Siren emoji] JESY NELSON IS BACK ON INSTAGRAM AFTER A 40 DAY SOCIAL DETOX [siren emoji] something is finally coming,” wrote one.
“Jesy Nelson activated her Instagram account [confetti emoji] I guess new music soon [eye emoji],” added another.
Meanwhile a third wrote: “#JesyNelsonisComing Jesy Nelson is officially coming as she re-activated her Instagram account!”.
And her fans may be right to expect something on the horizon, with Jesy’s social media comeback following reports thatthe star is set to release new music as an independent artist after leaving the record label Polydor back in July.
Speaking toThe Sun, a source said: “It's been a bumpy 12 months but Jesy is almost ready to release new music once more. Things are naturally going a lot slower due to the fact she's now an independent artist but she now has 100% control to do as she pleases.
“The song has been chosen and plans are in motion.”
Earlier this year, the Black Magic singer had hinted that she’d been collaborating with the Black Eyed Peasafter sharing several snaps of herself in the studio with lead singer Will.I.Am.
In the snaps, Jesy looked on admiringly as Will mixed a tune on the decks. She captioned the post "Studio with one of my fave humans @iamwill".
And after a Twitter account called @Leaks wrote “Jesy Nelson X Black Eyed Peas,” it’s clear that fans couldn’t get enough of the potential crossover.
“She's taking Fergie's spot,” wrote one fan. “Omg we need I'm excited,” added another, while a third simply put “Yess!” at the prospect.
