Josie Gibson shuts down rumours she’s ‘in love’ with This Morning cameraman

Josie Gibson has shut down the rumour mill after reports emerged that she had fallen "in love" with her This Morning colleague, camera operator Sam Morter.

The TV presenter, who regularly works with the crew member, took to her Instagram stories in a bid to put the story to bed once and for all.

Filming herself lying down in bed, the former Big Brother winner, 38, was all dressed up after a day enjoying the sunshine.

Wearing a black halter neck and her tan leather bag slung across her body, Josie began by telling her followers that she was exhausted by the reports.

"I'm just having a little lie down because I'm so tired of this story," the Bristol-born star shared.

"I am not in a relationship, neither am I in love with cameraman Sam. I am not with Sam Morter.

"I love Sam Morter, he is my work colleague, I'm like his older sister. I'm like his auntie.

"That's as far as it goes," the daytime TV host continued. "There is nothing going on between me and Sam Morter."

Sighing with frustration, Josie raised her hand to her forehead as she reiterated to fans how annoying it was to have to keep repeating herself.

"Yeah. I don't know how many times I've got to say it!" the star added.

It comes as Josie opened up on ITV’s Shopping With Keith Lemon about her love life, as she revealed there was someone special in her life that she's already said "I love you" to.

While reports circled that the star was referring to her co-star, following her Instagram statement the mystery man remains in the dark once more.

“There is someone in my life at the moment but it’s early stages," Josie shyly told Leigh Francis, which is Keith's real name. "It’s that bit where you’ve got the flutters, can’t-wait-to see-them vibes – you get a little bit nervous.

"I’ve said I love you. It’s best to just get it out of the way, I don’t like playing games.”

Josie has previously shared snaps enjoying trips with This Morning cameraman Sam, including when they travelled in a cable car in Paris.

The presenter joked that she was in the "city of love" with Sam, but didn't seem impressed by the idea as she also declared she was "gutted".

And at another point, the co-workers had a photo taken in front of the Eiffel Tower, where they were holding hands.

Two months ago, Sam also posted a series of snaps alongside the bubbly blonde in a helicopter, as he captioned the post: "Chauffeuring the Gibson around the skies."
