The death of Queen Elizabeth II has seemingly encouraged Kanye West to turn over a new leaf.
Following news the monarch had died aged 96, surrounded by her family at Balmoral, celebrities have paid their respects online, on TV and during concerts.
Rapper West has joined the throng of stars sharing tributes, as he posted a series of slides to his social media on Friday morning.
And, according to West ‘life is short’ and he’s decided to bury his various hatchets upon a moment of reflection.
This probably comes as a sigh of relief to the likes of Pete Davidson, Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian and others caught on the receiving end of the rapper’s wrath recently.
Sharing two images of the Queen as a young woman, West accompanied the photos with a statement that read: ‘Life is precious. Releasing all grudges today.’

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died after 70 years on the throne, with her death announced by Buckingham Palace on September 8, 2022.
She died at the age of 96 at her home in Balmoral, with her son, the now King Charles, and daughter Princess Anne by her side.

West had earlier vowed he ‘won’t back down’ after sharing a series of messages to his social media calling out Kim and his former mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, while also taking aim at Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted with a disturbing picture.
Now seemingly changing his tune, West’s statement came alongside other celebrities in Hollywood who were mourning the death of the monarch – including his ex, Kardashian.
The reality star posted a black-and-white photo of the Queen on her Instagram story, with the caption: ‘Rest In Peace,’ while Jenner wrote alongside a series of portraits: ‘Rest In Peace, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Graceful, dedicated, elegant, unforgettable.
Sir Elton John and Stephen Fry earlier led the celebrity tributes in the UK, with the Rocketman singer describing the Queen as an ‘inspiring presence’ and said he would ‘miss her dearly’.

‘Along with the rest of the nation, I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s passing,’ he wrote.
‘She was an inspiring presence to be around, and lead the country through some of our greatest, and darkest, moments with grace, decency and a genuine caring warmth.
‘Queen Elizabeth has been a huge part of my life from childhood to this day, and I will miss her dearly.’
While Fry shared: ‘Oh dear. Oh my. Oh heavens. Bless my soul. Oh lor. Heck,’ Dame Helen Mirren, who has played the Queen on two separate occasions, described the late monarch as the ‘epitome of nobility’.
Daniel Craig also paid tribute and remarked that the Queen leaves ‘an incomparable legacy and will be profoundly missed’.
News of the Queen’s death came after it was announced at lunchtime on Thursday that she was under medical supervision and ‘comfortable’.
Her four children – King Charles III, the Princess Royal, the Duke of York, and the Earl of Wessex – rushed to be with the monarch in her final hours and were also joined by the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex.
As the Queen’s death was announced, many broke into an impromptu rendition of God Save The King.
King Charles said his mother’s death ‘is a moment of the greatest sadness’ in his first statement as monarch.
He automatically became King upon the death of his mother, but this will be formally proclaimed at a historic Accession Council on Saturday.
