Kate Hudson ‘glowing’ in leotard as she plays guitar and teases music career

Kate Hudson has always been free-spirited and her latest Instagram post was no different as she sang and danced on the sofa while playing guitar.

The 44-year-old wowed in a bright yellow leotard with a plunging neckline and back along with blue high-waisted jeans.

She went makeup free as she held an acoustic guitar while standing on a sofa as she sang and played the instrument.

The How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days star teased her upcoming album but her video had no sound, along with the caption of the post reading: “In sesh.”

One of Kate’s friends, Angi Fletcher, encouraged her upcoming music, commenting: “DYING for the world to hear what I’ve heard for 20 years ….. Angel of music A minor E minor heaven.”

Fans also similarly took to the comments to ask why the actress is teasing them so much with no sound.

@Stacemumof8 said: “We need sound on.”

@Charmainemitchell added: “Hello lovely!!! I wish we could hear you!!”

@Llovellolouise commented: “Why are you teasing us with no sound?”

This comes as Kate made an appearance last year on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon revealing she’d been writing music.

She said: “I love to sing. I feel weird saying it… I’ve been making a record for like a year. It’s so much fun.

“You know, I had this thing [during] COVID… Every time you’re doing interviews, people are like, ‘Do you have any regrets?’ I go, ‘I’m in my early 40s… not yet.’ But during COVID, I was like, ‘You know, what am I doing?’

“I’ve been writing music since I was 19 and I’ve never shared it and so I thought that would be one of my great regrets.

“I have no expectations… I just want to put a record out and so I’m doing it and I’m really excited. I can’t wait.”

Kate is engaged to Danny Fujikawa with the pair sharing four-year-old daughter Rani.

She also has two children from previous relationships: Ryder, 18, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and 11-year-old Bingham who she had with her ex-partner Matt Bellamy.

The actress herself is used to shared family dynamics after her parents divorced when she was 18 months old.

Following Goldie and Bill Hudson’s separation, Kate was raised by Goldie and her new partner Kurt Russell, and he took on the father role in her life.
