Kate Middleton wowed the Wimbledon crowd as she arrived this afternoon in an eye-catching canary yellow dress to watch the Women’s Singles Final at the famous British home of tennis.
The dress was a bespoke Roksanda Brigitte number, and the ankle length garment is short-sleeved, with a big yellow bow that covers one shoulder – perfect for looking stylish but staying cool in the face of this weekend's super hot temperatures.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore her signature brunette hair in a straight blow dry and matched her look with white high heels.
Kate was all smiles as she arrived for the final and matched the summer dress with Kiki McDonough Citrine pear drop earrings.
It may not be the first time you've seen this stunning yellow dress on the Duchess as she stepped out wearing it on the royal couple's Caribbean tour earlier this year.
The Roksanda dress has since sold out after Kate wore it in Jamaica to mark the gold colour in the Jamaican flag.
Kate is an avid fan of tennis and is the royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), and she's already been in the stands for plenty of action-packed matches in the past two weeks.
Kate and William were at Wimbledon on Tuesday to watch day nine of the iconic tournament and were left in stitches by Kate's mum Carole.
As the royal couple watched on they became distracted by Kate's mum, Carole Middleton, who playfully stuck her tongue out at them. The royal couple were spectating from the Royal Box and were left in fits of giggles as they noticed the funny moment before they got stuck into the game.
The Duke and Duchess also attended the event on Thursday and viewers were sure they spotted Prince William exclaim an expletive in moment of frustration.
It seemed in a particularly spirited moment Prince William broke royal protocol and swore in frustration when Britain’s Cam Norrie lost a point to his opponent David Goffin.
One eagle-eyed viewer captured the moment and shared it on Twitter, and viewers believe the heir to the throne says: “No, no, no f*** it.”
The Duchess attends Wimbledon every year but her attendance was interrupted last year when she was forced to self-isolate during the tournament.
She was at Wimbledon in July last year when she was told she had been in contact with a positive Covid case.
It was quickly believed that she had come into contact with somebody who had contracted the virus as she attended the tennis tournament.
She was alerted of the positive case at around 4:45pm on Friday 2 July 2021 after spending the day courtside, having arrived at the All England Club at 11am.
She had been mingling with the likes of Tim Henman in the Royal Box, before leaving at 5pm – missing the match her friend Andy Murray was playing in.
A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace told ITV News at the time: "Last week The Duchess of Cambridge came into contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.
A separate spokesperson said: "Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home."
Despite missing some of the action last year, the Duchess returned to her royal engagements to see the Wimbledon’s ladies’ final and presented trophies to the winner of the ladies’ singles, Ashleigh Barty and runner up Czech finalist Karolina Pliskova.
Kate then joined by her dad, Michael Middleton, attended the men’s Wimbledon final the following day.
She attended the men’s final at Wimbledon with her dad, Michael, as her husband, Prince William, had another pressing sporting engagement as he cheered on England’s football team at Wembley as they took on Italy in the Euro 2020 final.
