Katie Price’s surrogate ‘pulls out of carrying her baby’ after ‘feeling disrespected’

Katie Price’s surrogate has reportedly pulled out of carrying the glamour model’s future child.

The mum of five, 45, opened up about approaching someone to carry her sixth child earlier this year.

Katie is already mum to Harvey, 21, Junior, 18, Princess, 16, Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, but has shared that she would love to have another baby.

However, those plans may now be on hold after the surrogate changed her mind about the arrangement after feeling “disrespected”, according to one source.

The surrogate is said to have met Katie in October last year and now feels upset for “wasting almost a year of her time” that could have been spent bonding with someone else that “would have appreciated using a surrogate”.

A source told MailOnline : “Katie's surrogate feels completely let down.

“She sacrificed a lot of time and energy getting to know Katie and verbally agreeing to carry her baby, which is a huge decision.

“As a fan of Katie's, this was something that she wanted to do until they finally met in person, and she was treated appallingly.

“The surrogate feels she was disrespected by Katie."

OK! has reached out to a rep for Katie Price for comment.

Katie recently opened up on her hopes of having a sixth child and was hoping to showcase her surrogacy journey via a documentary.

Speaking on the Turning Adversity Into An Asset podcast in April, she confirmed she was planning to use a surrogate to have another child.

Katie said: “I've got a surrogate, I haven't got as many eggs anymore, I'm 44, I want another baby so what am I supposed to do?

“I've got this lady… it will be my egg; she has been a fan of mine for years and she actually does these surrogacies. If I was with anyone it would be with them but if not, it would be a sperm donor.”

She previously opened up on trying to have another child with her fiancé Carl Woods via IVF, which was unsuccessful.

Speaking to her former Celebrity Big Brother co-star Michelle Visage on her podcast Rule Breakers, Katie opened up about wanting to become a mum again.

Podcast host Michelle, 54, said to the former model: "Are you done having babies?" To which, she replied: "No, are you joking?"

Katie then explained how sadly her latest round of IVF had failed, as she said: "I tried IVF last year and it failed – so I'm going to try again, try again. I'm not giving up. I need more babies."

She added that had not frozen any eggs and can only use what she's got, to which Michelle quipped: "What you've got has not let you down so far."
