Kerry Katona has slammed “ridiculous” Cardi B and Offset for gifting their daughter Kulture $50,000 (£41,938) in cash for her fourth birthday and sharing it on social media.

Kerry, 41, who is mum to Molly, 20, Lilly, 19, Heidi, 15, Max, 14, and DJ, eight, blasted the gesture as “outrageous” and suggested the money should have instead gone to charity.

Writing in her weekly new! column , the former Atomic Kitten star, who recently revealed Heidi has landed her first job, said: “Cardi B and Offset have gifted their daughter Kulture $50,000 in cash for her fourth birthday. I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous in my bloody life!

“They should give that money to charity. I’m all for treating your kids if you can afford to and it’s amazing they can do that, but that present is just outrageous.”

Kerry then joked: “I’m considering asking the couple if they want to adopt me, even though I’m probably older than them both put together!”

Cardi B, 29, and Offset, 30, posted a video to Offset's Instagram Stories, where the pair's daughter Kulture could be seen relaxing in the back of a car while holding the money in five stacks of cash.

Speaking off camera, Offset could be heard asking his daughter: "What is that?" to which she replied: "A ticket!” – which is slang for one million dollars.”

Correcting her, he replied: "A ticket is a million, girl. That's 50, say 50!"

The youngster turned four on 10 July and celebrated her big day in style, with the family going on a trip to Candytopia, an interactive children's museum.

Posting updates on Instagram Stories, Cardi B showed her husband, Kulture, and ten month old son Wave enjoying their day out.

One video showed Kulture looking at a candy version of the Sphinx, with the performer having to tell her daughter that, unfortunately, she was not allowed to eat any part of the installation.

She later shared a video of her daughter looking at a candy portrait done of her own mother's face.

It isn't the first time Kulture has been treated with a huge birthday gift, with the tot previously being given her own $8k pink Birkin bag for her second birthday.

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, recently spoke about being a hands-on mum in an interview with Vogue Singapore – where the rapper admitted she's never had a nanny for her daughter.

She said: "When the baby got here, I couldn’t even think about getting a nanny because I was afraid of anybody being around her besides my family. I’ve never had a nanny for Kulture."
