Khloe Kardashian has broken her silence following the arrival via surrogate of her second child with former partner Tristan Thompson.

Talking about motherhood, the reality star, 38, said her two children “challenge me as a person” and that motherhood is “an honour and a gift” but also "super scary" at times.

California-based Khloe shares four-year-old daughter True and a newborn son with basketball star Tristan.

Speaking to Elle Magazine about motherhood, she said: “I know it’s cliche, but I love everything, even the hard parts.

“(My children) challenge me as a person, and being able to shape little people into really incredible big people is an honour and a gift.

“We have to take those roles seriously, especially in today’s day and age, with how much accessibility children have and the information they’re exposed to so young.

“It’s super scary, but I take my job very seriously. I love it so much.”

NBA star Thompson and Kardashian officially ended their relationship back in January after it was revealed he had fathered a child with another woman.

It is understood they remain separated aside from co-parenting issues and that their second child was conceived via surrogate before the revelations became public.

By using a surrogate Khloe followed in the footsteps of her big sister, Kim Kardashian, who welcomed the two youngest of her four children via this route.

Khloe has yet to release the name of her newborn son, though there's speculation that she may have let the moniker slip in an interview back in 2018, which has now resurfaced.

In the video, the Keeping up with the Kardashians reality TV star – at the time pregnant with daughter True – said that she would call her first child Tristan Junior if she was to have a son.

Fans are now wondering if she has used the name for her second child – with a clip from the previous interview popping back up on TikTok recently.
