In a video that has since gone viral, a photographer named Caroline Ross explains that the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ alum may have been editing out her ‘trapezius’ back muscle.
AceShowbiz –Kim Kardashian has been exposed by a TikTok photographer named Caroline Ross for her alleged photoshop attempt. In a video that has since gone viral, “The Kardashians” star’s unedited photo was unveiled.
On Monday, August 29, Caroline turned to the video-sharing app to “nerd out” with her and “test [people’s] media literacy skills.” In her post, she asked social media users “what is fake” in Kim’s swimming pool Instagram photo.
Caroline begins her video by highlighting the “bizarre” editing by showing the photo Kim uploaded. To reveal the apparent edit job done by the SKIMS founder, Caroline used a tool from Photoshop and “corrected” the edited image to show how the reality star’s neck naturally looked before it was allegedly cut out.
“Kim K is notorious for Photoshopping out her traps. Why? I don’t know, maybe it makes her neck look smaller. But this area right here has been Photoshopped out,” Caroline said, before explaining, “When we zoom in, we can see that the water pattern behind her here has been warped. Using the liquify tool Photoshop, I’m going to now show you what it would look like without the Photoshopping applied to it.”
After a few moments of editing Kim’s photo, Caroline said, “As you can see, the water reflection in the background starts to look a lot more natural as well, we don’t have that warped effect.” She added, “We also have a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot to compare as well,” before showing off a screenshot from the clip.
“Here’s the photo that they released,” Caroline told the viewers as she compared the snapshots. “Here is the corrected version. Check out the water patterns in the background.”
Kim is no stranger to being accused of Photoshopping her pictures. She infamously Photoshopped out Kylie Jenner‘s daughter Stormi Webster and replaced her with Khloe Kardashian‘s daughter True Thompson in a photo taken from Disneyland in December 2021.
After many critics called her out, Kim reasoned why she needed to edit the picture. “Ugh this one needs some serious explaining,” the SKKN by Kim founder wrote in April this year. “OK OK sooooo you know I am all about my aesthetic! And my IG grid is pink and blue lately. Isn’t it so cute and well planned out!”
“The original pics were Stormi!” she confessed as she shared the original unedited photo. “However I asked @kyliejenner if I could post them and she said [crying emoji] she wasn’t really feeling posting at the moment and so I respect that! But it wasn’t going to mess up my IG feed. Chi was wearing pink and it matched perfectly.”
In March, fans caught her Photoshopping a carpet in her photo with her now-ex Pete Davidson. The said carpet featured a geometric design, while the floor covering in her Instagram post appeared to be solid gray.
