Kylie Jenner baffles onlookers as she dons life size lion head on slinky dress

Kylie Jenner fans have been left baffled as she walked the red carpet for the Schiaparelli show during the Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris, France.

The 25 year old, who recently showed off her post-baby body amid rumours she's split from Travis Scott, arrived on the scene in a slinky, figure-hugging black strapless dress. The velvet number had a ruffled effect down the front and a life size lion head on one shoulder – covering half her torso and neck.

Kylie paired the outfit with some black heels that had gold toe-slots and styled her raven mane up into an elaborate 'do for the occasion.

The mum-of-two donned a smokey eye and a nude lip in a bid to keep the attention on the dress, which was designed by Schiaparelli and made it's runway debut that same day.

After posing on the red carpet, the reality star moved on to sit at the front of the runway, where she came face to face with the model who wore the same outfit.

Fans of the make up mogul flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts as one person wrote: "Kylie Jenner wearing full Schiaparelli before the look debuted on the runway (on Irina Shayk) is exceptional."

"Are we gon’ talk about the fact that @KylieJenner just wore a freaking lion’s head to the Schiaparelli fashion show in Paris?" another shared.

While a third added: "Just saw Kylie Jenner wearing a lions head as an accessory on tiktok live im too drunk for this".

The incredible lion outfit may have also been a tribute to her son, whose name she finally confirmed as Aire nearly one year after she gave birth to him.

Kylie and Travis had originally called their son Wolf, but decided it was quite fitting. At the time, she told fans: “FYI our son's name isn't Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere". Since then, they've kept his name under wraps.

But over the weekend, Kylie finally confirmed his moniker as she shared a gallery of images of her son, who arrived on 2 February 2022, and wrote a single word: “AIRE”.

Since announcing the new name, many fans have been left curious about its origin and meaning, as it isn’t often a name typically heard.

Thankfully baby name resource NameBerry has us covered, as it revealed that Aire is actually a name with Hebrew origins, and means “Lion of God”.

Typically the name is a variant of Ariel, a name we commonly associate these days with the Little Mermaid thanks to the iconic 1980's Disney animated film, but it originally had a masculine root and even appears in both the Bible and the Torah.

According to Abrahamic religions, Ariel was one of the angels sent to earth to spread the word of God, Ariel's name is also used to refer to the holy city of Jerusalem in both holy texts.
